Pray

During this last week of Advent, begin your daily prayers with the O Antiphon for the day:
O Root of Jesse’s stem,
sign of God’s love for all his people:
come to save us without delay!

Reflect

Read about the virtue of hope in Paragraph 1819 of the Catechism of the Catholic Church and reflect on its particular relevance to the season of Advent.

Act

• Light the fourth and final candle on your advent wreath.
• Pray for those in your community who do not have enough to eat and collect non-perishable food items to donate to a local food bank.
