Since 1990, generous American Catholics have provided millions of dollars for projects which were submitted to our office by the bishops of Ukraine. These efforts have helped the Church in Ukraine rebuild itself and begin to live and serve in freedom. …Participated in renovations of Greek Catholic and Roman Catholic cathedral churches in Lviv
Lviv is an ancient city with two major archdiocesan sees, and two cardinals. Both cathedrals are witnesses to centuries of history and are prominent cultural and religious heritage sites.
… Supported the establishment of Catholic Radio in Lviv
Radio is one of the best ways to reach thousands of people deprived of Catholic teaching and culture for decades. This radio project in Lviv is now providing them with quality programming.
… Helped establish a licentiate program in theology at Lviv Theological Academy
This project provided funds for enrolled and new students, and covered costs for tuition, living expenses, books, and supplies.
… Assisted with training program for 30 teachers in Teen STAR in Kiev
This project made possible the training of 30 teachers in Teen “Sexuality Teaching in the context of Adult Responsibility,” an international, effective program to form teens in Catholic sexual morality.

…Provide scholarships for Ukrainian to lay and religious to study in Poland, Rome, and other centers of catholic theology and philosophy.
In order to be able to educate the generations of Catholic lay and religious leaders the Church needs to educate the future educators today. Thus scholarships are provided to prepare seminary and university faculty for generations to come.
…Support religious orders of men and women in their ministry aimed at strengthening the mission of the Church in Ukraine
Religious orders are providing an indispensable service to the local eparchies and dioceses by works of charity, education, catechesis, social services, caring for priests and seminarians, and so much more. Your support of their efforts makes a great difference in the life on the local Church.
…Provide funding for summer evangelization camps.
The seventy-five-year communist rule left behind a tradition of political summer camps for young people. Now this tradition is getting a religious spin. Ukrainian Catholic University is participating in this summer program along with Donetsk-Kharkiv Exarchate by providing volunteers and resources for summer camps, which include retreats, seminars, and just good old summer fun in the context of Christian charity and personal growth.
