1999 Directory of Catholic Communication Personnel Available

WASHINGTON (May 12, 1999) -- The 1999 Directory of Catholic Communication Personnel, compiled and published by the Communication Department of the United States Catholic Conference (USCC), is now available. The handy reference tool contains names, addresses, phone and FAX numbers, E-mail addresses and Internet sites for communication and information directors and broadcast officials for U.S. Catholic dioceses and many church-affiliated organizations.

The 1999 directory has 94 pages, the largest since publication began in 1971. The Directory of Catholic Communication Personnel contains an index listing by name every person mentioned in the directory.

Also in the new directory are over 50 national and international organizations and communication agencies, such as the Catholic Press Association, the Christophers, Eternal Word Television Network (EWTN), Family Theater Productions, Hispanic Telecommunications Network, Inc., Holy See Press Office, Odyssey, Paulist Communications Inc., St. Anthony Messenger Press/Franciscan Communications, UNDA International and UNDA-USA, and many others in this country, Canada and Europe.
