Catholic Communications Directory Released

WASHINGTON (January 31, 2002) -- The 20002 Directory of Catholic Communications Personnel has been published by the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops' Department of Communications.

The directory lists principal communications contacts for each diocese in the United States. It also includes other media organizations, listed in five categories: the Holy See, diocesan related organizations, Canadian organizations, religious community related organizations, national Catholic organizations, additional Catholic media organizations and ecumenical organizations.

It is a vital tool for journalists who seek sources of information within dioceses and Church associations when covering Church stories.

Copies of the directory are available for $7 each, including postage, and may be ordered by sending a check made out to USCC Communications and mailed to
