Obtaining Media Credentials for June Meeting, USCCB

Media Advisory: Full Access Not Guaranteed


WASHINGTON (April 18, 2002) -- The United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) will hold its spring meeting at the Fairmont Hotel in Dallas, Texas, June 13-15, 2002. Items on the agenda include:

  • recommendations leading to a comprehensive response on the national level for handling cases of clergy sexual misconduct;
  • a pastoral plan for Hispanic Catholics;
  • a proposal to allow for online giving to the various national collections administered by the USCCB;
  • division of Region 4 into two smaller regions.
Media credentials may be obtained by submitting the credentials application form in advance from the USCCB Department of Communications prior to June. The form should be faxed to 202-541-3173.
