Media Advisory: USCCB Annual Meeting Announcement

WASHINGTON -- Credential applications for media who wish to cover the 2003 spring meeting of the U.S. bishops, June 19-21, at the Hyatt Hotel at Union Station in St. Louis are now being accepted. An application and hotel reservation are attached.

The agenda will include votes on a proposed National Directory of Catechesis and a proposed National Directory on the Formation, Ministry and Life of Permanent Deacons in the United States.

The tentative schedule is as follows, See Advisory #2 for more details.

Please note that only the Thursday and Saturday morning sessions will be open to media.

There will be news conferences at 12:30 p.m. Thursday and at the conclusion of the Saturday Session.
