Archbishop Hughes to Celebrate Mass at St. Louis Cathedral

First mass in landmark cathedral since Hurricane Katrina

NEW ORLEANS, La. (September 29, 2005)— Archbishop Alfred C. Hughes will celebrate Mass Sunday, October 2, at 10:30 am in St. Louis Cathedral in the New Orleans. It marks the first mass in the famous French Quarter cathedral since Hurricane Katrina ravaged the city.

Mass will be celebrated at 69 of the 142 Catholic church parishes in the Archdiocese. A complete listing of the parish Mass schedules can be found on the Internet at
www.archdiocese-no.org.
