MEDIA ADVISORY - Archdiocese Celebrates Reopening of Jefferson Parish Catholic Schools



METAIRIE, La.( September 30, 2005) All Catholic Schools in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana, will reopen Monday, October 3, 2005. The Archdiocese of New Orleans Office of Catholic Schools will also open its office on the Archbishop Rummel High School campus in Metairie, LA. There were approximately 1700 applications from displaced high school students for the Jefferson Parish Catholic high schools alone.

Catholic School Welcome Back Celebration for all returning and new students to the Jefferson Parish Catholic schools.

When:
Monday, October 3, 2005

Where:
Archbishop Rummel High School
1901 Severn Avenue, Metairie

Time:
first class at 6:50 am throughout the day
