The annual Spring General Meeting of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) will be June 17 through 19, at:

Items on the agenda include approval of the annual assessment of dioceses for United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB), progress report on the pastoral plan for marriage, approval of the Mass of Thanksgiving for the Gift of Human Life, and liturgical translations. Bishop Gerald Kicanas of Tucson, Arizona, vice president of the USCCB, also will report on the USCCB’s five priorities: Cultural Diversity in the Church, Faith Formation and Sacramental Practice, Life and Dignity of the Human Person, Strengthening Marriage and Promotion of Vocations to the Priesthood and Consecrated Life.
Sessions expected to be open to media are Wednesday, June 17, 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m., and Thursday, June 18, from 9 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. The rest of the meeting will be for breakout sessions, executive sessions, and prayer and reflection. There will be media conferences June 17, at 5 p.m. and June 18, at 12:30 p.m. in the Rio Grande Ballroom on B - Level.
