To the President, all members of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops and the People of the United States:

With great pain in our hearts we have been following the tragic and shocking events effecting the people of USA during these days.

The whole Slovak Bishops Conference with the believers of our country would like to express solidarity with the people of your country and assure of our spiritual closeness to all those touched by this drama.

We offer constantly our prayers and during the celebrations on the 15th of September, day of Mary Virgin of Seven Sorrow, our national patron, we will celebrate the Holy Masses in all parishes in the Slovak Republic, for the victims of this attack and for the peace all over the world.
