Heartbreak Ridge -- Flag-waving portrait of a Marine sergeant (Clint Eastwood who a1so directed), a hardened veteran whose last assignment before retirement is to train a reconnaissance troop for combat. His brutal methods and end-justifies-the-means philosophy supposedly prepare his troop for victory in Grenada. Violent combat footage, scenes of dramatic brutality and excessive profanity and vulgar 1anguage. (O) (R) ( 1986 )

The classifications are as follows:

A-I -- general patronage;
A-II -- adults and adolescents;
A-III -- adults;
L -- limited adult audience, films whose problematic content many adults would find troubling. L replaces the previous classification, A-IV.
O -- morally offensive.

Note: Some movies previously were designated A-IV. Older films with this classification should be regarded as classified L.
