  • Hold Your Man -- Creaky star vehicle in which a small-time con man (Clark Gable) falls for a feisty dame (Jean Harlow), then flees a manslaughter rap while she has his baby serving time as an accessory before he returns to face retribution, marriage and a happy ending. Directed by Sam Woods, the picture begins as a breezy romance, then turns into a prison sudser with a wildly unconvincing climax. Sexual situations and innuendo. (A-III) (br) ( 1933 )
