  • Master of the World -- Jules Verne fantasy set in 1868 when a U.S. federal agent (Charles Bronson) and several companions are taken captive aboard a heavily armed flying ship built entirely of paper whose inventor (Vincent Price) is set on forcing nations to disarm or perish. Directed by William Witney, the flying machine is as ingenious a contraption as Captain Nemo's submarine and the journey is almost as interesting with the agent's efforts to foil the inventor's destructive course. Menacing situations. (A-I) (br) ( 1961 )
