Oración para inmigrantes y refugiados
Todos llegan portando dones

Response (all): Lord, you are the gift and you are the giver.	Respuesta (todos): Señor, tú eres el don y tú eres el dador.
We welcome you into our hearts and our homes dear Jesus.	Te acogemos en nuestros corazones y en nuestros hogares, querido Jesús.
We welcome you in the person of the migrant farm worker, whose labor brings the fruits of the field and the vine to our tables.	Te acogemos en la persona del trabajador agrícola migrante, cuyo trabajo trae a nuestras mesas los frutos del campo y la vid.
We welcome you in the persons of the seafarer and truck driver, whose long journeys bring goods and fuel to our homes.	Te acogemos en las personas del marino y el camionero, cuyos largos viajes traen a nuestras casas bienes y combustible.
We welcome you in the person of the refugee child alone in the world, whose hope and courage brings us inspiration.	Te acogemos en la persona del niño refugiado solo en el mundo, cuya esperanza y valentía nos traen inspiración.
We welcome you in the person of the asylum seeker, detained in our prisons without cause, who teaches us to thirst for justice.	Te acogemos en la persona del que busca asilo, detenido sin motivo en nuestras prisiones, quien nos enseña a tener sed de justicia.
We welcome you in the persons of the immigrant teacher, scientist, artist, athlete, and doctor, all of whom bring their gifts to enrich our land and our lives.	Te acogemos en las personas del inmigrante maestro, científico, artista, atleta y médico, todos los cuales traen sus dones para enriquecer nuestra tierra y nuestras vidas.
Let Us Pray (together): Lord Jesus, help us to recognize you in the face of the stranger and welcome your presence among us. You have graced us with the gifts of many cultures and nations. Free us from the fear of those from other lands. Teach us to share our gifts with newcomers in return, so that you may say “I was a stranger and you welcomed me. Come now into my Kingdom.” We ask this in your name, from the Father, through the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen	Oremos (juntos): Jesús Nuestro Señor, ayúdanos a reconocerte en el rostro del forastero y a acoger tu presencia entre nosotros. Nos has favorecido con los dones de muchas culturas y naciones. Líbranos del temor a quienes vienen de otras tierras. Enséñanos a cambio a compartir nuestros dones con los recién llegados, para que puedas decir “Fui forastero y ustedes me recibieron en su casa. Vengan ahora a mi reino”. Pedimos esto en tu nombre, desde el Padre, por el poder del Espíritu Santo. Amén
