Leadership Development and Education
EJP promotes Catholic social teaching and the environment and trains Catholic leaders to act on this teaching in a variety of ways:
- by identifying young leaders and scholars though activity generated by our programs
- through our outreach efforts in the course of our everyday policy work with diocesan social action directors
- through leadership retreats co-sponsored with dioceses and state Catholic conferences
- through a variety of educational materials and other resources (see Useful Resources)
- through annual meeting of an informal diocesan advisory group
that convenes during the Catholic Social Ministry Gathering
each February
