| Pope John Paul II has called on Catholics to pray for "the conversion of hearts and a generous view in just decisions to resolve with adequate and peaceful means the contests that hamper the pilgrimage of humanity in our time."* The following resources are designed to help U.S. Catholics respond to this invitation from the Holy Father by praying, fasting, learning more, and acting, beginning with Sunday, March 2, 2003 and continuing through Lent and beyond.
